Asanul Nazryn Bin Mohd Nazi

Asanul Nazryn Bin Mohd Nazi (b. in 1989, Singapore) graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours (Fine Arts), LASALLE College of the Arts.

Naz uses digital technology as part of his exploration of identity as a social construct through the scope of social media. His playful approach to his subjects gives his serious topic a lighter and sometimes humorous tone, giving it an approachable and an alluring effect. Naz regards himself as an observer and a constant critique to his environment that may contribute to the construct of the social identity. 

Naz has been awarded with CDC/CCC Bursary Singapore as well as LASALLE bursary in 2014. He was one of the artist that was featured in 'Coming Home' an Art installation celebrating Singapore Jubilee Year. Other installation includes one for National Youth Council at Orchard Road. He was also selected for 2014 The Apprenticeship Programme (TAP) NOISE organized by NAC (National Art Council). Participating Artist in 2014 Night Festival. Featured Artist in 2010 Singapore YOG (Youth Olympic Games). He is currently working as a graphic designer and is based in Singapore.
